No module named future.utils

I'd like to use cphanalyze to analyze the NAMD cphlog files and calculate the titration curves etc.
The "python setup.py install --user" seems to be working well. However, when I used "scripts/cphanalyze", it returned the following error,
"ImportError: No module named future.utils".
Any inputs will be much appreciated! Thanks!

What version of python are you using? The majority of development was in 2.7 and the future imports were meant to enable compatibility with python 3. However this has really not been well tested. Is there simply a missing package?

I'm using python 2.7. Is there a way specifying the version/ location of python while installation? Sorry ...I'm quite new to this pynamd... Did not find such flag. Thanks!

Apparently the future package is not default for your installation. If you are using anaconda try "conda install -c anaconda future" in your shell and then try again. Otherwise, you may have to use your package manager (e.g. apt or yum) to get that (I don't have experience with this).

Sorry that this is not so robust, this is now my side project. I appreciate your interest and help in identifying issues so that others can use the code more easily.
