Idea: Use monitor edid in addition to "initial_outputs" to help with hotplugging

I use notion on my laptop, and my primary two monitors are hot-plugged through displayport.  The problem is that the output names can change when replugging, and then my saved layouts get all messed up.

Perhaps it is possible to use the monitor EDID instead or in addition to the output name?
