Close on drag/drop

I often use Quicksilver to find a file in order to drag it onto another application, onto a Finder window, etc. Is it possible for QS to detect that a drag/drop has succeeded and close the QS window?

This is a neat idea, and a good one. I've implemented it #3066 (will try and get a release out in the next ~few weeks)

It's added as an 'extra' so will require you to enable it in settings:

I have some other observations about dragging that may be only loosely related. (and keeping in mind I don't have this fix yet.) I've noticed when I drag a file from QS to terminal, it hangs terminal (all windows frozen) for about a minute before typing the file name. Same for TextEdit, not for Emacs, yes for Mail... Sometimes the hangs are even longer.
I also see spinning beach balls before the drag is completed, glichiness in and QS itself can hang for a while, where I can't close the window or get any kind of response.
I haven't seen these when dragging the same file or folder from Finder.
I'm not sure how much more I can help to characterize it, but would it be helpful to add another ticket? Do you have any ideas about why it might be happening?

@joshgold22 - this should available as part of v2.5.3. Make sure you've updated within the app and checked the option in the 'Extras' prefs page.

For the glitches - if you're able to open a new issue that would be really helpful, yes! If it's fairly easy to reproduce, then at the very least a screen recording of it happening would also be a great help!

I think this issue (the glitches) got fixed with the new update somehow? (I hadn't checked the preference, maybe it should be default on)

I did discover a different regression, though (don't know if it was there before this fix.) I was going to file a ticket like #2203, but I see that was fixed in the past. It's broken now, items are not added to history after a drag.
