Can no longer save VegaLite.VLSpec objects as images

I just updated Julia (to 1.11.2) and Vegalite (to v3.3.0) and can no longer save VegaLite.VLSpec objects as images:

Errors encountered while save FileIO.File{FileIO.DataFormat{:PDF}, String}(DIRFILENAME).
All errors:

Fatal error:

After installing ImageMagick I get:

This happened to me on a new mac with Apple silicon, because the node version installed as an artifact was for intel.
After finding this thread, I installed Rosetta, which lets Apple silicon chips run apps designed for intel:

softwareupdate --install-rosetta

Now everything works, though I feel this is a workaround rather than a solution. A better solution would be to have appropriate artifacts downloadable.
