"This implementation" means the copyrightable works distributed by Quantum Pipes Technologies LLC as part of the QP Conduit project.
Quantum Pipes Technologies LLC hereby grants to You a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, transfer, and otherwise run, modify, and propagate the contents of this implementation, where such license applies only to those patent claims, both currently owned or controlled by Quantum Pipes Technologies LLC and acquired in the future, licensable by Quantum Pipes Technologies LLC that are necessarily infringed by this implementation. This grant does not include claims that would be infringed only as a consequence of further modification of this implementation. If you or your agent or exclusive licensee institute or order or agree to the institution of patent litigation against any entity (including a cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that this implementation or any code incorporated within this implementation constitutes direct or contributory patent infringement, or inducement of patent infringement, then any patent rights granted to you under this License for this implementation shall terminate as of the date such litigation is filed.
You can use, modify, and distribute QP Conduit freely, including all patented innovations, for any purpose. This patent grant, combined with the Apache License 2.0 (Section 3), ensures you are protected.
The only way to lose this protection is to sue someone claiming that QP Conduit itself infringes a patent.
The following innovations are covered by this patent grant:

Internal service mesh orchestration. Automated discovery, routing, and health-aware load balancing of services within air-gapped infrastructure, without requiring external service registries or cloud APIs.

Integrated DNS-TLS certificate automation. Coordinated provisioning of internal DNS records and TLS certificates from a local certificate authority, enabling zero-configuration HTTPS for internal services with no internet dependency.

GPU health monitoring and container inspection. Unified hardware health telemetry (CPU, memory, disk, GPU utilization) combined with container-level inspection for AI workload scheduling and capacity planning in offline environments.
Open Source Users: The patent grant above and Apache 2.0 Section 3 provide you with a royalty-free, irrevocable patent license. You may use, modify, and distribute this software freely.
Commercial Users: The same patent grant applies. You may use QP Conduit in commercial products without additional patent licensing.
