Continuum Level Estimation and Adaptive Removal (CLEAR)

Continuum Level Estimation and Adaptive Removal (CLEAR) is a continuum subtraction code. It is developed for the use cases of HST H-alpha and JWST Paschen-alpha, although it is intended for general continuum subtraction.

Licensing

This is not a license.

Continuum Level Estimation and Adaptive Removal (CLEAR) is source-available. Any and all can freely use, modify, and distribute CLEAR for non-commercial purposes, in addition to other common open-source permissions, pending definition. CLEAR is envisioned to be eventually distributed under a license that disallows commercial use, like a license with a Common Clause or similar to the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA.
