Error in reshape command

I have tried this script to load mha files but always get one error i.e. total size of new array must be unchanged from line no. 118. I have tried to debug it and found that the length of self.data array before and after reshaping is not same and I don't know where is the problem in the script I've checked many times..can you tell me what I am missing.

Hi,
if the mha is compressed my file does not support it.
I suggest to use SimpleITK...it has perfect support for medical image
I/O in python.

How to check if .mha file is compressed?
Somehow I have opened .mha files and save them as a mat files. Can I process them as a mat file?

Another question is that I got success to read .mha files in SimpleITK but itk shows some error. So is it sufficient to work with SimpleITK instead of itk?

It is declared into the header of the file.
If you open it as a text file you can check.
