Github discussions

Hi! 👋 As requested in an issue (#633), we're trying out Github discussions.

My hope is that this will give people a nice option to ask questions that may not be a good fit for opening an issue, and ideally 🤞 encourage people to offer each other support. 🙂

We'll see how this goes; if it seems to be more hindrance than help we can turn it off again.
