Restrict to local network or unrestricted?

The manage page shows me both a tickbox 'restrict to local net' and a selection 'no restrictions, block traffic, only specified' etc. It's unclear how these two conflicting messages resolve.

If I have 'Restrict to local network' and 'Unrestricted UDP/TCP', I assume it means only for local, but it could mean something else.

Now that you mention this, I see why this is confusing. I should rename those options in a future version to make things clearer. But here is how it works now:

'Restrict to local network' restricts based on IP addresses. So it only allows communication with the local network if you enable this.

'Unrestricted UDP/TCP' means all TCP and UDP ports. It is just an easier way for selecting 'Specific ports' and then entering asterisks into all port fields.

'Unrestricted traffic' means not just UDP and TCP, but any other protocol is allowed as well. If the application uses TCP or UDP and 'Restrict to local network' is checked, the app will still be constrained to the local subnet.

tried to play with telnet.exe There is no connection to local nor global IPs with option enabled.
