Battery Board Substitution for u1

The IC specified for U1 lithium ion 2 cell battery protection circuit is now only available in quantities of 1202 from Digikey.
Would the Mitsumi MM3220AA1NRH IC be a good substitute?

The R5460x is the only battery protection IC I have experience using on orbit. I'm sure parts could work, but I haven't reviewed the radiation effects literature on any others in particular.

• The parts look fairly compatible, but you'll have to comb through the datasheet and make sure I didn't overlook something R5460x datasheet.pdf
• I know for a fact that these battery holders use the same R5460x as the PyCubed battery board. Just make sure to buy extra and exercise the packs to screen for faulty parts before flight. You can connect multiple of these packs together in parallel to PyCubed. If you're using a PC104 structure, one option is to secure these packs to an aluminum plate (or bare pcb).
