It's used in fuel for nuclear reactors. Higher temp equals more fuel efficiency. |

Well... (looks at nuclear reactor again, and sighs) Thanks for the explanation, and it makes sense. Apparently I'm too used to seeing Uranium Hexaflouride as part of the (real world) enrichment process. |

I noticed that at the end of uranium enrichment, there's not a way to convert the very hot Uranium Hexaflouride into a useful product.
However, there's a recipe for Uranium-233 into this very hot uranium hexaflouride. Any thoughts on the intended mechanics?
