How to actually store data in InfluxDB?

Maybe I overlooked it, but I can't find any way to actually use your library to store data via Python in InfluxDB... it seems to be only able to manage InfluxDB (create/delete users and databases)? It that the intended use case or will this be extended to actually store data too?

Yes, it's an intended use case. I've been hesitant to create appropriate classes and methods for converting it to a full-feature client before to support Protobuf protocol too. But I've already decided to support only the InfluxDB HTTP interface for the first release, so I'll be releasing the first version this weekend. Thanks for reaching out.
