Emoji in username affects search

There is a user with name "Mr🍌Beak"
When I begin searching this user is found with "m" but not with "mr", it is then found again with "mr🍌"
Could the emoji affect the lookup for the preceding character?

Can you please try again and see if you can reproduce it?

I tried on the latest staging with Hans🍌Johnson, search suggestions listed him when I searched for Hans and for Hans🍌 .

FYI there is now a 3-char minimum limit, so nothing will trigger autocomplete below that.

@ok300 I think the endpoint changed to /search/users/by_name/ and now I still see the issue but it returns 404 instead, watch:
