Feature: Testing suite for hardware conditions and hardware-dependent code

Idea

We need a testing suite that can:

1. Test hardware conditions - Verify and validate the state/availability of hardware
2. Test hardware-dependent code - Test functionality that relies on hardware

Motivation

Having a proper testing suite will help ensure reliability and catch issues early, especially for components that interact with physical hardware.
