Full context-sensitive analysis is unpractical since it has many long possible continuations. This is similar to a large tree with many deep roots; it is unpractical to pull out a large tree. In contrast, seedlings are easier to pick up due to their limited size of roots, just like k-CFA in which only a limited number of continuations are saved.
