Cypress VM (7.3.1) won't boot on Apple Silicon

I was trying to run the Cypress VM image on my new M3 Mac. The booted on Virtualbox 7.2 (beta) but kept crashing with a segfault halfway through the startup process. When I tried it on VMWare Fusion 13 Pro, I got a more helpful error message:

Is there support for Apple Silicon planned?
