If Elynia and Mal Keshar are already next to each other when you discover Elyssa, they immediatly start channeling the union. That's bad because they might be somewhere where it's hard or even impossible to protect them, unable to move, through no fault of the player.
Preferably make it so that they can only channel the union when you have move them at least once.
