This is a fatal problem I encountered when playing. When I equipped the lightning strike in the scorestreaks and actually used it in the game, it would cause the game to crash almost every time and get stuck in a fake dead state. This situation will occur in the role story mode, custom games, and local games.
If you want to play again, you must force it to close through the task manager and delete some active files in the game directory. If this problem can be fixed later, the project of this game will be perfect, although I am not sure if there are other problems, at least I have not found them yet.

sounds like a problem with scripting. If you are using mods try removing them. You can also enable debug log messages for lua and gsc through the project-bo4.json file in the game directory

your issue is most likely related to mod scripts, in which case you should look for support in the discord channel as it is not a issue with the client itself.
