websocket: close 1006 (abnormal closure): unexpected EOF

there seems to be a problem with the websocket connection and it keeps crashing after a couple of hours.

1. Identify if something is closing the websocket forcefully
2. Implement retries
3. Improve logging around this error so that it's searchable
4. Add fallback websocket connections
