Pre-Build Container

Hello! I'm in the process of trying to get Talos build on my local HPC cluster to try it out with my own VCF data. Would you be able to build the talos container and push it to dockerhub (or a similar repository) along with the GitHub releases? This would make it easier for users that don't have direct access to docker (for example, our cluster uses Singularity which can easily convert build docker images, but takes some tweaking to build from a Dockerfile).

I am still unsure if the prebuild container is provided or not, I was trying to build my container on WINDOWS with WSL and I got the error for BuildKit but then later on I found this on the docker page.

BuildKit only fully supports building Linux containers. Windows container support is experimental.

So I switched to my mac and was able to successfully build the image and upload that image to docker hub and pull it in my Windows machine with WSL. I changed the Docker container in the config to the appropriate container but then I got the new error that the architecture is not same.

Command error:
  WARNING: The requested image's platform (linux/arm64) does not match the detected host platform (linux/amd64/v3) and no specific platform was requested
  exec /bin/bash: exec format error

Now quick solution is going to build the container with the appropiate arcitecture tag and then upload it again on docker hub and then pull it back again. But it wastes a lot of time.

It would be nice if a prebuild container is provided on Docker Hub. I am also a bit un-sure about the comment (+1 as we've recently had to start paying non-trivial $ for docker licenses) earlier why there is need to pay money to upload the container image.
