Switching to High Contrast breaks the theming

If you go to Settings -> Universal Access and select High Contrast the icons are enlarged in the top right menu and Activities and other text in the Overview are moved from their correct positions like in this screenshots.

Wonder if this is related to pop-os/shell#230

I just hit this. In addition to the symptoms described in the description, the GNOME Shell apps dock (with the Dash to Dock extension enabled), the Alt-Tab switcher, and the top bar all have completely missing backgrounds. Here's a screenshot, which unfortunately only includes the top bar:

I'm not sure you can really do anything about this, but if you could .. that'd be real great!
