Problem

Internal microphone is detected but captures no audio. Level meter stays flat at 0-1% even when speaking directly into the mic at maximum volume.

Mic worked correctly on Windows before switching to Linux. Broken across kernels 6.17.9 and 6.18.7.

Root cause

The kernel routes to node 0x13 which is not a real mic:

• Pin Default: 0x411111f0 → [N/A] Speaker at Ext Rear (not connected)
• Amp-In vals: [0x00 0x00] (zero gain)
• DefAssociation: 0xf (dummy/unused)

The real internal mic is node 0x1b:

All mixer 0x22 inputs are muted by default. The alc256-asus-mic fixup does not unmute the correct path for this subsystem.

Fix needed

Subsystem 0x1043:0x13c2 needs a dedicated quirk entry in patch_realtek.c that:

1. Routes internal mic to node 0x1b (not 0x13)
2. Unmutes mixer 0x22 input index 3 (the 0x1b connection)

Reproduction
