Steps to reproduce the bug

Hello,

since last week I am unable to play any content on YouTube. I am able to search the content, but not play it. When I click on any content there, the blank screen appear with a message "The content is not available". I checked the Bandcamp content, and there is no problem with playback.

I noticed that YouTube changed something in their code. NewPipe and other similar apps already fixed this issue with new updates. Can you fix this issue too, please?

Duplicate issue. Check first. Anyway...
Update to a later version. 0.28.2 is available here or via IzzyOnDroid repo if using an F-Droid client.

@Moostek : the issue template literally asks "I am able to reproduce the bug with the latest version" and "I am not able to reproduce the bug with the latest version of vanilla NewPipe". You're not using the latest-version, so why log this ticket? 🤔

If you install the Tubular app manually, download the latest APK from here, open it once downloaded and update when asked:

I installed Tubular app via F-Droid app (I do not want to use another installation methods). And on F-Droid there is no 0.28.2 version, the latest version is 0.28.0. Why? Does it mean the new version will appear on F-Droid soon? Is so, when, please?

@Moostek : okay, slightly-fair then that you are using the latest-version that is in the F-Droid store, as of now...

...but when you went to log your ticket, did you not see the second-newest ticket already in the list:
F-Droid not picking up latest versions #316 ?

I did not know there is some issue with the latest version. I have created this ticket in the belief I use the latest version. Ok, the temporary solution is to download the new version via IzzyOnDroid repo or manually from Tubular download page. Thank you.

Just a late FYI. The F-Droid people build the apps themselves (for the F-Droid repo) so quite often releases will lag behind what's available from a Git repo or even Play Store at times.
