F-Droid not picking up latest versions

It seems that F-Droid is not picking up the latest versions (0.28.1 & 0.28.2) of this app.
I cannot definitely tell if this is a normal condition, but if I understand their documentation correctly, app developers are able to manually update the metadata?
Anyway, I was also wondering whether the v tag (https://github.com/polymorphicshade/Tubular/releases/tag/v) was created/updated in error or purposely and if that could potentially confuse the crawler algorithm of F-Droid? (Might be total nonsense, but I'm not into it deep enough to tell.)

IzzyOnDroid has picked up the latest version. Not sure what it means but I assume it's useful info?

IzzyOnDroid is a third party F-Droid repository. Here it's about the main, default repository maintained by the devs of the F-Droid app.

@licaon-kter is there anything we should de for publishing latest 28.1 and especially 28.2 versions of Tubular in F-droid repos? (and what is the proper f-droid repo for creating such issues)

Just as an idea, is it possible to create a custom repository ?
This could be added seperatly in FDroid and may speed things up.

The IzzyOnDroid repo fulfills this role: https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/?repo=iod

Mind that the app signature might be different so moving between F-Droid's main repo and IzzyOnDroid will require exporting Tubular's database to avoid loosing data.

As @milux already noticed it's probably the v tag on this repository which keeps the automatic update bot from f-droid from doing its work. It's a duplicate of the v0.28.1 tag (same commit hash) and was probably just created in error.
Maybe @polymorphicshade or someone else with write access to this repository can remove it?

I removed the v tag. Let's wait and see if this solves problem

Let's see if the updater picks it up in the next run or if it needs manual intervention on F-Droid's side as well (if they cache the repositories they might need to remove the tag manually or clear the cache).

All git clones are always fresh, be in checkupdate or build.
