@brianopeterson-cpu : Tubular doesn't support livestreams that have not yet started -- as the parent app NewPipe doesn't.

The video you linked to says when you tap "Report":

org.schabi.newpipe.extractor.exceptions.ContentNotAvailableException:
Got error LIVE_STREAM_OFFLINE: "This live event will begin in 14 minutes."

You can only watch live videos in Tubular (or NewPipe) once they have actually started.

If they haven't yet started, neither app offers the "notify me when it goes live" option that YouTube does currently.

Close this ticket, then go to the NewPipe Issue tracker and see if there is an open-ticket for this issue. If not, create one there. But this isn't something Tubular specifically can do; the parent NewPipe needs to.

@brianopeterson-cpu : Grayjay, ReVanced and many-other "YouTube alternative" apps may support such streams, as they are entirely different apps coded separately; Tubular is a "fork" of NewPipe, with some extras (SponsorBlock and Restore YouTube Dislikes) added.

What you can do is hide videos that aren't live yet, to avoid this in future:

• In Tubular, go to the "Subscriptions" page
• Tap "All"
• Tap the 👁 (single eye) icon
• Uncheck "Upcoming", then tap OK

Now, in the "All" list, you won't see any livestream that has not-yet started in the list
