Date input doesn't fire the filter when chaged

Hi, I would really thank you for such a great job, especially after updating the old plugin and fixing the poor functionalities of the first version.

I am using a date filter but it doesn't fire any requests when I change the date value.

        html: 'input',
        type: 'date',
        attr: {
          class: 'form-control',
        }
      } 

I appreciate if you please double check and let us know how to fix that.
