"Mouse cursor" macro moving less than instructed

[System] Windows 10 64-bit version 1903.

[Issue]: A "mouse cursor" macro with parameters "-1 0" moves the cursor one pixel to the left only every 2 or 3 hotkey presses, instead of every press.

[Troubleshooting]: I disabled the DPI settings back to default ("100%"), and reset HotkeyP's registry settings,
then setup this hotkey again, and still this behavior is exactly the same.
I also tried changing the "DPI settings" within the File Properties dialog of hotkeyp.exe -- to all combinations -- and they all displayed exactly the same behavior.

Relative mouse motion is subject to the settings for mouse speed and acceleration level. An end user sets these values using the Mouse application in Control Panel.

Yeah it might be a problem with Windows. It's not affected by mouse settings or acceleration, but only happens when the Windows system has (or has had in the past) DPI setting changed.

(I.e, the default in the Display control panel is "Scale apps by 100%" [no scaling], and one can enlarge everything on screen by selecting "125%" etc).

About 30% of my Windows apps in general do not display large enough, (i.e, they are not "DPI aware", I've heard it called), and I have fixed most of them by going into the EXE's file properties --> Compatibility --> Change high DPI settings --> Override --> "Performed by the application".

But the remaining apps, including HotkeyP here, remain off in some things.
Fortunately, HotkeyP displays everything in the correct size (it appears), and the only incorrect thing is its mouse coordinates reading/writing.

Have HotkeyP mouse macros been tested on high DPI?

What's your mouse setting ? Have you tried to change it ? If you set it to normal speed, then the mouse cursor will move 1 pixel per hotkey press.

Yes, I tested, and changing the mouse pointer speed in the Control Panel has no effect on the number of pixels moved.

(a) I have the global Windows setting, "Change the size of apps and text" set to 225%,

(b) and my screen is also projected to a 2160p, from native 1080p.

The (a) item above needs to be accounted for by all applications for them to display as intended -- and also move the mouse and detect its location if they do that (which HotkeyP does). They sometimes call it "DPI awareness" (from "dots per inch").

Issue #14 talks about this same issue. Changing HotkeyP's font size helps with some display issues but does not fix the root cause.
