@pladaria Is this great library still being maintained?

There has been no recent activity and there are some outstanding PRs.

Stability/Bugfixes:

• Fix: handle error if getNextUrl throws pladaria/reconnecting-websocket#166 Fix: handle error if getNextUrl throws

• [Fix] Socket doesn't connect again after closing while connecting pladaria/reconnecting-websocket#141 [Fix] Socket doesn't connect again after closing while connecting

Killer feature:

• feat: make protocols updatable pladaria/reconnecting-websocket#132 feat: make protocols updatable

All of the above have been merged in a fork project and seem to be working well.

@curran Partysocket has issues, which is why we at @forwardemail still aren't using it yet. Until these are resolved:

• Bug: partysocket does not return data object (as similar to original library it was forked from) partykit/partykit#538
• Bug: partysocket error isn't working properly (reason and code are undefined) partykit/partykit#537
• Add support for custom logger (defaulting to console.log) for partysocket debug mode partykit/partykit#536

Oh interesting! Thanks for the info. Those issues are not deal breakers for my use case, but good to know about.

I'm curious, are you still using the original reconnecting-websocket? Or do you have another active fork?
