<h1>News and Information</h1>
<h2>WE'RE SO BACK!</h2>
<p>
Hi y'all! This website and the platform will be getting overhauled and merged over the next few months,
and (hopefully) moved to phscpt.com. For now, check the <a
href="https://phscpt.pythonanywhere.com">practice platform</a> is going to be the best place to get
info, updates, and more about CPT! Be sure to come to our meetings, every Monday after school in <b>Room 237</b>.
<br><br>
Hope to see you there!

<h2>Hi there!</h2>
<p>
Welcome back to another year of competitive programming! We'll be meeting every Monday after school in
<b>Room 237</b> (Ferguson's classroom). Our first meeting is tentatively set for <b>October 9th</b>.
Before then, check out some of the problems on our <a href="https://phscpt.pythonanywhere.com">practice
platform</a> and join our <a href="https://discord.gg/36BnWmRpGA">Discord server</a>.

See you soon!

<h2>CALICO + Lockheed Martin Teams!</h2>
<p>
Congratulations everyone on completing the TST! Here are the team arrangements, based on TST
performance,
results at past contests, and friendship networks (I smell a graph problem...)
<br><br>
<b>CALICO</b>
<table>
<thead>
<th>Team</th>
<th>Members</th>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Aleph</td>
<td>Jieruei Chang, Nicholas Hagedorn, Vihaan Jim</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Alpha</td>
<td>Brian Jiang, Marco Hu, Henry Langmack</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Epsilon</td>
<td>Tom Schlessinger, Nina Tacheva, Vikas Yarlagadda</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Upsilon</td>
<td>Ronald Aung, Tommy Birge, Melvin Huang</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<br>
<b>Lockheed Martin</b>
<br><br>
<table>
<thead>
<th>Team</th>
<th>Members</th>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Aleph</td>
<td>Jieruei Chang, Nicholas Hagedorn, Brian Jiang</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Alpha</td>
<td>Johanna Roggenkamp, Marco Hu, Henry Langmack</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Epsilon</td>
<td>Aman Kapur, Alice Zhao, Emma Li</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Princeton CPT Upsilon</td>
<td>Nina Tacheva, Tom Schlessinger, Ronald Aung</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
Please note that the order of the teams is not completely based on how well we think you will do (we didn't
use the typical α-β-γ
order for a reason). We'll be holding practices soon (especially for Lockheed, our first-ever in person
tournament). If you want a
different team name or want to ruin our painstakingly designed team arrangements, let us know as soon as
possible!

<h2>Spring TST</h2>
<p>
The link to the Team Selection Test for upcoming contests will be available shortly. The test will be
open
on CPT Platform from <b>March 13th at 3:20pm</b> and close on <b>March 14th at 3:20pm</b>. You will have
the full 24 hours
to complete 4 problems; each problem is designed such that one test case is brute-forceable and
the other requires a more sophisticated solution. Good luck!

<h2>December USACO</h2>
<p>
The <a href="http://usaco.org/">USA Computing Olympiad</a> is this weekend (it's four hours, and you can
take it anytime between Friday and Monday). I really encourage you to go if you can!

You'll need to create an account to take the contest. Please do this soon because there are often
problems with confirmation emails.

<h2>Christmas Coding!</h2>
<p>
<a href="https://adventofcode.com">Advent of Code</a> will be running throughout the month of December,
with increasingly difficult challenges posted each day. I highly recommend to use this for practice,
because the problems are actually really good (and fun, too). To join our leaderboard, use the code

<h2>Halloween Tournament!</h2>
<p>
~oOoOoO~
We celebrate Halloween with some spooky problems!
<br><br>
If you had trouble during today's contest, remember that competitive programming is more than just
coding.
Spend some time thinking about the problem before jumping into VSCode! Try drawing a diagram, or working
through the sample cases.<br><br>
Next week is the team selection test for PClassic and UC Berkeley. We'll be posting details shortly. See
you guys soon!
