Incorrect numbering when using multiple workspaces

When using multiple workspaces, tab numbers will continue, i.e., my first workspace ends on 6 and the second one starts at 7. However, the next workspace actually begins at cmd + 1 instead of cmd +7 again.

Preferably, I would like to have tab numbers to not extend across workspaces.

I think this has already been addressed.
