Feature Request: Relative numbers.

please add option to enable relative tab numbers. so that the tab number represents how far away it is relative to currently opened tab

That's a good idea, but I'm not really sure how easy it is to implement something like this in pure css, since Zen Mods cannot use javascript.

If you have any solution or if someone's willing to make a pull request that implements this, I'll gladly use it in upcoming versions as an option.

Tab numbering should always be relative. The first tab that is opened should always be number one, no matter what. And when opening subsequent tabs, those tabs all progress in numbering, while the very first tab you opened always remains #1, the second #2, etc. That's what I thought this mod was. I don't understand the purpose of this mod without subsequent numbering. Thus, this mod does me no good and had to uninstall.

Then I my terminology was incorrect, but it doesn't dismiss my point. Tab #1 should always remain #1 no matter what. But that is not the default. Tab #1 becomes #2 once I open a second tab, then it becomes #3 on the third tab opening, etc. I want to know where tab #1 is at all times. I guess I could figure the highest #, but it shouldn't be like that. #1 should always be #1. That is not the default behavior.

okay?? what do you want from me?? this issue is not about subsequent numbering, its about relative numbering, i do not want subsequent numbering, open a new issue for this, this isnt related
