Set Up Maven with JDK 17

in order to run jdk 17 with maven you need compatible versions

add instructions based on this post from digitalocean to the dockerfile

Step 1: Download the Maven Binaries

wget https://dlcdn.apache.org/maven/maven-3/3.8.6/binaries/apache-maven-3.8.6-bin.tar.gz
tar -xvf apache-maven-3.8.6-bin.tar.gz
mv apache-maven-3.8.6 /opt/

Step 2: Setting M2_HOME and Path Variables

M2_HOME='/opt/apache-maven-3.8.6'
PATH="$M2_HOME/bin:$PATH"
export PATH

Step 3: Verify the Maven installation

mvn -version
