The demo titled "Trigger event 'test' on both divs (and a green on-the-fly div appended at the bottom)" does not append a div, but a li (list item).

Note that this example is not easy to follow; it operates both at the very top and at the bottom and at the bottom - in fact, at the bottom of the list. It would be best to separate this from the other demos.
