ltree account names?

I don't know what the performance impacts would be, but have you considered ltree for the account names so that they could be inherently hierarchical?

I do think ltree opens up some cool possibilities, and I use it in one of my examples:

I was just worried about being too prescriptive on account names in case folks want to use a different pattern.
