docker fails to build, and references a handful deprecated components

Starting with using Debian Buster, which is unable to apt-get update since being archived, there are a handful of other packages that are no longer valid, such as python, and python3-distutils.
After this gcc itself fails to build, c++17 doesn't allow operator++ on a boolean.

It would be really nice to have this toolchain working, and the prebuilt docker image failed to run without any logs as well

Yeah, this hasn't built successfully for a while due to stuff disappearing. It doesn't matter though, since the point is to match the toolchain used for kobo stuff, which hasn't changed substantially in v4.x. I recommend sticking to the prebuilt docker image for now (you can extract the toolchain from there to run it standalone if you want).

For FW v5 with qt6, we'll need a new toolchain either way.
