Browser Testing times out without loading the page

Running Pest Browser Testing as follows:

it('expects pages to pass a visual test', function() {
    visit('/')
        ->on()->desktop()
        ->debug()
        ->assertScreenshotMatches();
});

Shows me a chromium browser but it just times out without completing the test:

I have no idea how to debug this or even work out whats wrong. I'm using valet-linux on PopOS 22.04 LTS
