Currently, the PeerBench settings page (https://www.peerbench.ai/settings) does not provide any way for users to upload or manage a profile avatar.
Adding avatar support would improve user identity, personalization, and usability across the app—especially as PeerBench grows into a more community-driven benchmarking platform where users create prompts, review benchmarks, and interact with shared content.
Proposed Enhancement
Add a basic user avatar feature with the following scope (intentionally small and one-day doable):
- Allow users to upload an avatar image from the Settings page
- Support common formats (PNG, JPG, WEBP) with a reasonable size limit (e.g. ≤2MB)
- Show the avatar::
- In the Settings page
- Next to the user’s name in relevant UI components (e.g. prompt ownership, benchmark author, profile menu)
- Provide a default fallback avatar for users who have not uploaded one
