So, In theory, this should also work with Streaming Radio Stations, right? So we could configure those streams as channels and make them available in Jellyfin/Plex?

Yes, it works with any HLS stream — radio stations included. As long as the source serves an m3u8 playlist, the proxy will handle it.

For radio, you'd set up channels.conf the same way. If the radio stream URL is direct (no iframe), use direct mode:

myradio|My Radio Station|1|https://example.com/logo.png|Radio|https://radio-site.com/stream.m3u8|direct|

If the stream doesn't need special headers (many radio streams are open), you can skip the proxy entirely and just put the m3u8 URL directly in your M3U file. The proxy is mainly useful when the upstream requires User-Agent/Referer headers or when tokens expire.

Jellyfin, Emby, and Plex all support audio-only HLS streams through their Live TV tuner.
