xfreerdp-gui

Extended GUI for CLI based xfreerdp

These scripts are originally based on Prof. Wyllian Bezerra da Silva at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC)'s repository: https://github.com/wyllianbs/xfreerdp-gui with few minor updates.

What are:

  • Multimon
  • Compression
  • Fullscreen
  • network:modem
  • ignore-certs

Requirements/Dependencies

  • Linux Packages:
    • freerdp-x11
    • gawk
    • x11-utils
    • yad
    • zenity

Installation

Download the install.sh and run it with sudo or clone the full project and put the xfreerdp-gui.sh and FreeRDP_Icon.png to the /opt/xfreerdp/ folder and the launch "desktop" script to the /usr/share/application folder. That is all.
