Offline storing

Would it be possible, or even advisable, to have an option to allow the app to generate and then store stats offline for a specific period of time?

I am thinking it might be useful for things like plane travel.

Version 2.0 has a database back end already implemented and functional. I am in the process of bug checking, as well as attempting to implement an actor architecture. If you are curious, the actor model branch has a lot of new stuff.

After running the app for a while now, It looks like it retries any failures, which is great!
