Can't click windows after switching monitors

Describe the bug
If two monitors are used, it is not possible to click on a window on the second monitor after interacting with anything on the first monitor, unless the focus is switched via Alt+Tab or if the focus is switched to another window on the second monitor. This makes PaperWM completely unusable. It is also notable that when a new window of the application opens via PaperWM, it opens on the first monitor instead of on the second one.
