I have the same question here, my hw_ctree.xml have the WebUsers password hashed the same way and there is Salt variable available. I couldn't find what type of hash is this

No I haven't figure out what type of algorithm is being used. And it doesn't seem worth it to decrypt the password in my case, since my ISP issue new credentials on each restart of the device.
