Create an interface to periodically retrieve and send data

So here I am again.
What I want to to now is to combine my branch with the latest main locally so that I can try out my code with Étinnes module without merging it. So far I wasnen't able to get it into the same location. If I am switching between main and my branch I have either my or his code. I don't want to go the hacky, coping over code way.
I know Étienne explained it last time but I cant remember.

Ok what I did now is that I merged the latest main into my branch. I hope this doesn't create any problems down the road!

hey @jomaves , i'm logging back in. i'm reading your code from the commit 4e46859, and from what i see the arduino connector is both taking care of the arduino and trying to poll it regularly, and call the databaseconnector. If that helps, i can work on this issue #12, create a class that will just do the polling from the arduino, so that in the end we would have:

• one class for the arduino (connects and reads)
• one class for the database connector (connects and writes)
• one class for the polling (runs the read and write from both classes)

(i would also tend to see a 4th class for the fake arduino, so that the "real" arduino class is only responsible for the real arduino, and never giving fake values. otherwise a real arduino could stop working but the database would still receive values from it…)

No worries! have a look at: 2972703 , i've created a basic polling class. You instantiate it with poller = PollingInterface(arduino_client, database_client, 7), and then you call poller.run(). it will loop and send fake data every 7 seconds to influxdb. I'll improve it later tonight, but i guess as a basic it does the job…

Ok then I will remove some of the functionality from the Arduino connect class and will only collect the values there. I can also write another class for fake values or I return an additional information if the data is real data or generated.

I tried to refactor the module so it fits to the polling interface, I think it is not working yet. I have quite a headache now. I can't finish it right now. If it is getting better I will give it another try later. Sorry.

I removed polling functionality from the arduino class. It only has read now to hand over the values. If there is no connection to Arduino the Read function returns a false. This case values should be retrieved from the fake value class.
I am not sure if I can now push my branch now without any problems as I have merged the latest main into my branch before to also have the influxdb module in there. I hope this doesn't create any conflicts.
So far I couldn't establish a connection to the database to check if the handover between modules works.
