Bug Description

To view an open file's corresponding folder in the file explorer, you can use the “Files Reveal current file in navigation” command to highlight the active tab's file in the File Explorer. In another open tab, once active, will reveal the next location when running the command.

When Vertical Tab is open, this functionality is interrupted — you can reveal a file in the navigation, but only one. Other command usage from other active open tab files only reveal the first one.

I use this core command very often, so when installed VT the loss of function was an immediate observation. I've tried various settings, but i cannot determine any other potential cause.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Obsidian.
  2. Open a file in a tab
  3. Open another file in a tab
  4. from tab 1, run command "Files: Reveal current file in navigation" and it will show the file in the file explorer.
  5. From tab 2, run the same command, and it will show the other file. *This is useful if you have a file that cannot be seen in the file explorer due to being outside of the viewport or if the file is located in a collapsed folder.
  6. Activate Vertical Tabls
  7. Run the same command on both files, and only one location will be revealed for both.
