Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The MMC is a complex converter, which requires time and effort to understand.
Not only from a practical perspective, but also from a theoretical one.
MMC modeling is also complicated, as it usually implies trigonometric functions, non-linear transfer functions and so on.
I think it is necessary to create a simple model of the MMC that explains 60% to 80% of its problems, without requiring more than a few linear equations, and, where not possible, simple combinations.
Describe the enhancement you'd like
I have started working on a model, which I will share in a folder soon. I would like some feedback on this simple model.
I will try a model that is made of a few equations, and also a LTSpice model.
Describe alternatives you've considered
We have been working on modeling for the past year or so. The only alternative so far is the Twist model that has been adapted by @analuhaas and works.
While being a good solution for more complex studies, I think we still need some simpler for underpinning our understanding of the problem associated with decentralization of an MMC.
