Only recording 1 second

Hi!

Just done some testing on the replays and it was easy to set up and i got it running without errors. But for some reason it only saves 1 second of every clip. I can see on my webcam that as soon as i start the clock it starts to record and a couple of seconds after desicion it stops but it seems to trim away the whole video file. I tried first with 1.8.0 and then tested 1.7.3 but still the same on both. Im running 61.0.0-RC3 at the moment but i cant see the issue being in owlcms? Running Windows 11 i should add.

Any advice on what to check? I am using a regular C920 Logitech webcam.

I think i found the issue my self. I didnt try with jury inputs, only referee inputs. Seems that it does not record anything if jury does not enter there input. Perhaps by design. Well it seems to work now.

Edit: I may have to change what i just said. So if the referees input all good and the jury does the same then there is a video. If the referee input all good but one jury inputs no lift and the other two good lift then there is no video.

I have read the docs but maybe there is a more in depth explanasion on how the system work? I am currently just entering the ref input on the announcer screen ( so either good lift or no lift) and on my keypad for jury inputs through the console page.

Okay, then there is an issue somewhere. Most of the times it work but sometimes it only records 1 second. The camera starts up and start recording. Are there any logs?

If you look at the installation directory, you will find the logs.
Also, in the configuration file, there is setting that will give a detailed log of each invocation of ffmpeg.

# FFmpeg logging - set to true to create timestamped log files for ffmpeg output
logFfmpeg = true

Also make sure you are running version 1.8.0 or later, and that your config.toml file is based on
https://github.com/owlcms/replays/blob/main/internal/config/default.toml

(I am doing a 1.8.1 version now because somehow the new cleaner config file was not the one being copied by default during a first install).
