Non asynchrone index/content search resulting in lags in the interface #157

Platform:
Mac or iPhone/Touch
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open php documentation
2. In index panel, search for array
3. Wait... some seconds until the search is done, until it's done the gui is
frozen.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is to not have the gui freeze.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Last according to today.
Please provide any additional information below.
