acp#onBs() never ever gets triggered #12

Description

This function was first introduced in version 2.10 as a way to "improved the response by changing to close popup menu when was pressed and the text before the cursor would not match with the pattern of current behavior" according to Takeshi Nishida.

My understanding for what this function actually does is that it will close the already popped up menu if after the character at the cursor gets deleted, the length of the remaining word wouldn't satisfy the required word length to trigger the popup menu. But such behavior never actually happens. Can someone help me understand the use of this function or is it not properly implemented?
