Only works if lazy = false

Might be my limited understanding of how lazy works but looks like the config mentioned in setup only works if I use lazy = false. Without it, the leader key doesn't work at all. Am i doing something incorrectly?

You can do something like this:

  "otavioschwanck/arrow.nvim",
  lazy = true,
  keys = {
    { "\\", "<cmd>Arrow open", desc = "Open Arrow" },
  },
  opts = {
    show_icons = true,
    leader_key = "\\", -- Recommended to be a single key
    buffer_leader_key = "m", -- Per Buffer Mappings
  },
}

It will load allow lazy.nvim to load arrow on a keypress. I have yet to find a way to load with a mark though.
