I believe that's bat, rather than tea. Try cat ~/.bashrc | bat.

@jhheider, would ^C-ing it be problematic, or do you want the output of cat ~/.bashrc | bat whilst the process is still running? That log was provided whilst it's still apparently hung, in a new tab of konsole.

I believe that's how bat behaves by default. It's intended as a drop-in replacement for cat, with additional features. So, it reproduces it's stdin or a file to stdout. If stdin, it remains open until stdin is closed. Ctrl-c, or ctrl-d, should work.

Perhaps the progress indicator should remain once the package is installed.

We could probs output something like tea: running foo then delete that line as soon as we get any output from foo this would mean piping all output from foo though which is less optimal. Currently we don’t hog any pipes.
